HOW TO USE VLC MEDIA PLAYER AS A VIDEO CONVERTER?

Vlc media player is one of the most popular video player, it supports almost any format and it has also a capability to convert video from one format to another format with the options to change audio and video codec, bitrate, frame rate, sample rate etc. and also offers a features to add subtitle in the video which you can only get in the paid version of video converter.

So, in this tutorial I am going to show you how to convert a video from one format to another format using VLC media player.

Step 1: Launch VLC media Player.

Step 2: Click media then click convert/save.

Step 3: At the Open Media dialog box click add to add video.

Step 4: Click convert/save located at the bottom of the dialog box.

Step 5: At the profile select the format in the drop down menu.

(To change video and audio code, bitrate, frame rate etc. click on edit profile)

Step 6: Set destination folder and click start to start video conversion process.

After video is converted successfully go to destination folder and see the video.
