HOW TO RESUME DOWNLOAD CORRUPTED FILE USING IDM?



We download many things from the web and to download we use Internet Download Manager (IDM).

Internet Download Manager is the widely used downloader. Most of the people use Internet Download Manager because of its resumable capability but sometimes when we try to resume the download, its show an error message  saying file corrupted or download from beginning instead of downloading the file which makes us irritated.

This happens due to the several reasons like:

1.  When server stopped responding
2.  Your Internet connection has problems
3.  You manually pause it
4.  You stopped it to download it later because it has the capability of resuming.


So  what you will do? If the file is already downloaded 90 %, will you download the file from the beginning?

No need to download from the beginning just use the simple tricks which is given below:-

Tricks 1:-
Follow the steps :-

          1.     Open IDM double click the file which shows error message.

          2.     Now copy the link address


3.     Open any browser and paste the address and press enter.

4.     Now message will appear saying start download or download later.
5.     Click on download later.

6.     Again goto to IDM, double click the file which you made download later.

7.     Copy the link address and close it.

8.  Now double click the file which you want to resume, delete the link address and paste the new link and click ok.

  Now it will resume the download from the point where it stopped downloading.
Done.

Tricks 2:-
1.     Go to  the same website having same file size and click download

2.     When  message appears saying start download or download later, click on download later.

3.     Goto to IDM, double click the file which you made download later.

4.     Copy the link address and close it.

5.  Now double click the file which you want to resume, delete the link address and paste the new link and click ok.

Now it should resume the download.
